The past 18 months have proven to be very challenging for everyone across the globe! With restricted travel and tourism, and the events industry being held at a massive halt, Ibiza retrospectively had quite a difficult time. However, after all, was said and done, we moved into the summer of 2021 with positivity and confidence. We never expected the season ahead would be one of our happiest or to feel so grateful for our clients’ support who returned to see us again this year!
We can honestly say that this summer will always remain in our memories as one which echoed with a sense of freedom in the air, as well as being filled with a hope that life was once again returning to the way it used to be.
There is no question that the summer story of 2021 will always be remembered not only for how the world changed, but for how a fresh, new zeal and passion for life, travel, and our wonderful island was reborn. And, yes we did have one of our very best seasons to date!
Each time we begin a new tourism season, we welcome back some of our knowledgeable and experienced staff who have been with us for many years, as well as introducing some brand new talent to our team.
Good Food Ibiza
In particular, this year we decided to revamp our beach restaurant menu as part of our mission to enhance the experiences of our guests. This led us to design and create a new Summer 2021 contemporary dining menu, crafted and delivered by our latest team members, Executive Chef, Massimo Larosa. And, we are very happy to say both our new and returning customers have been incredibly pleased with the results!

We were also awarded a TripAdvisor “Travellers’ Choice Award”. Traveler’s choice awards recognize restaurants, which cater to a diverse group of tourists, all over the world, who consistently deliver great food and service. A wonderful 2021 moment for us all here at Pura Vida Beach Restaurant Ibiza.
Additionally, Pura Vida Beach Restaurant Ibiza had the pleasure of hosting some of our long-awaited Ibiza destination weddings in the year 2021, where our couples were finally able to tie the knot. And, we are pleased to say their destination Ibiza beach wedding was everything (and more) they had been waiting for. As a family-owned company and long-standing Ibiza wedding planning service, we aim to make every couple feel special regardless of their style, wishes, or requirements. Our summer of 2021 wedding season will certainly be one we will never forget, filled with gratitude, fun, and above all else, it was a great pleasure and honourable experience to welcome couples back to our venue and provide them with our wedding services and hospitality once again.
The season passed was filled with plenty of events from guest DJs with Cavalli Booking, regular fashion shows from our in-house boutique, Pura Vida Style, our usual kid’s entertainment, and alfresco evenings with live music from Paco Fernandez.
And now even though summer has officially ended on September 22, 2021, and we have entered the tranquil season of Autumn, it is not uncommon for the Balearic summer season to last well into the end of October. Here, the soaring temperatures turn into heavenly late spring days with mornings and evenings that are mild and fresh. These last few weeks of the summer season are a wonderful time for us at Pura Vida Beach Restaurant to embrace and celebrate the end of a great season.
Our beach day beds and bar are still open every day (except Tuesdays) from 10:00hrs, and our terrace beach restaurant is open from midday (kitchen 1-6pm) till evening for the last of the summer vibe.
